Going to Venice was something I really dreamed about.
So I wanted this trip to be as perfect as it could be.
It was my first travel experience since the beginning of the pandemic.
So we needed to get the right information about the new rules.
When we traveled to Italy we needed to have a Green Pass or Certificate of Vaccination from COVID.
(Which has to be approved by WHO or in Spanish OMS)
We could also have a PCR certificate done a day before the flight
or a certificate that you recently recovered from COVID.
Then, we needed to fill out a form in which we needed to tell everything
from the travel motive to where we were gonna stay.
We printed it out just in case.
It’s easier to see everything on paper in my opinion.
Don’t forget about the boarding passes and your ID.
If you travel from Spain and you are a Spanish citizen you just need your DNI.
If you are a resident or have a tourist visa.
You need to bring your passport and the residence card NIE (if you have one)
For instance, I'm a Russian citizen and had to bring my vaccine certificate,
a completed Italian form, my Russian passport and my Spanish residence permit.
We also had to wear surgical masks during the whole time we were inside the airport and on the plane.
Flying back to Spain we needed the same documents.
IDs, COVID vaccine certificate and boarding passes.
We also needed to fill out a Spanish form to get a QR code.
To do that we downloaded an app SpTH.
